Hi–welcome to my cyber home away from home. I write in many different genres so chances are good you’ll find something you like – if not, send me an email and I’ll see what I can do. 🙂
My favorite part of writing is coming up with a story idea and then fleshing it out until there is a brand new world–-with characters that could be people you’d hang out with. Real issues, even in a fictional setting, need to resonate with the reader and I love mixing it all together. History with a romantic twist, add female guards and hot, sexy knights/nights :). An ancient curse? Even better! Or maybe you’d prefer sensual contemporary romance that takes place in a small town by the sea, where hearts are healed and love rekindled. Sand, sun and true love. Or how about the wild frontier of the Pacific Northwest? Gold mines, silver guns, emerald rivers. If young adult is more your style, I’ve got boys in trouble, girls in trouble, or a teenage scientific prodigy raised in a Wiccan environment who blames the full moon for her problems. When it comes right down to it, the characters are what drive the tale. They keep us up at night to read Just One More Page…

Stephanie Carter is a fifteen-year old freshman who has everything. Whether she’s studying, playing soccer or dancing, Steph gives it one hundred and ten percent. At home, she’s starting to feel the pressure as her family falls apart. Her mom is moody, her little brother is a mess and she’s not feeling like Daddy’s little Princess anymore. An ex-friend of their group sabotages Steph at every opportunity, but she just works harder to make up the difference. Her friends wonder if their exhaustion at the end of freshman year is worth it. It’s her job to keep everyone else motivated. Her stomach hurts and she can’t eat. If she isn’t perfect, she’ll fail. Not happening.

An attack by the Uraeli snake-shifters changes his mind.
Josh must be protected while Shani follows clues from one canopic jar to the next. She must find Mother Mafdet and wake the goddess. Can Shani and Josh set aside their growing attraction, spiced by danger and a soul-deep connection, building between the two of them?
Adoption doesn’t end when the papers are signed — not for the birth mother, not for the adoptive mother and not for the adopted child. It is a decision with consequences that last a lifetime. While there are many wonderful books on how to adopt, when to adopt, making an adoption plan, and the like, ADOPTION IS FOREVER is at times humorous, sometimes gut-wrenching, but always honest.
“A refreshingly new look at adoption,” reviews Roger H. Rubin, Ph.D.
